Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) が主催する研究フォトコンテスト。イギリス全土の研究者から応募された写真の中から、People and Skills部門で最優秀賞を受賞。
この写真は、ケンブリッジ大学とタンザニアの現地チームによる共同研究プロジェクト「i-teams Water Project」の一環として、太陽活性触媒を使用した汚染水浄化の実地調査中に撮影されたもの。サムスンのスマートフォンで撮影した写真が、EPSRCの年次レポート等でも使用された。
